I wish to be able to play The Sims Complete Collection.

Today, I spent my afternoon with old friends from school. We did what we had always done as a student and that was to eat at the local stall before going anywhere. It was cheap and nice, although the owner was getting stingier and stingier with the meat. I could hardly see them. But I couldn't complain that much can I, it was only RM 3.00. Anyway, the next stop after lunch was Jusco, Kepong. The plan was to watch a movie but everyone couldn't decide. It was a war between 'Monster vs Alien' and 'I Corrupt All Cops'....which in the end the latter won by majority voting for an action film instead of animation.

'I Corrupt All Cops' was a tale set in the 1970s if I'm not mistaken, dealing with cops and bribery. The beginning was interesting with blood and bribery. Most definitely a 18 PL show. One can't take one's little brother or sister and let them watch some1 bash a person's skull with everything bashable on a table. Oh...the nightmare or rather for those impressionable, the time for trial testing with a friend's head. The movie started quite interesting, with violence and comedy, and then slowly deteriorated towards the ending. The ending was less than satisfactory, but i shouldn't spoil the ending for anyone out there who haven't seen the show.

Ah yes, before the show, we went for a round of sushi at Sushi ****. The things are getting smaller by the day and somehow, my friends and I felt cheated at having to make do with smaller pieces of sushi at the same price.

After the show and sushi, I send them all home after which my friends presented me with a big bar of cadbury chocolate-mint filling. It was a gift from their trip to Langkawi which sadly I couldn't go because of exams...Haiy...why the heck must TarC's schedule clash with Help UC's. I have missed several trips with my friends...Angry~angry~

Anyway, thank q friends for not forgetting me even in the midst of fun. I LOVE You!!!

Today, I got several photos from the trip to Genting which I shall share some cute and memorable ones...

Genting Trip

I wish to be able to do something productive this holiday.

I'm back from my Genting trip with my friends and it was:
  1. Not that cold (global warming)
  2. Fun...We had a lot of laughs (even while we were trying to sleep) and lots to talk bout (hey...we are all girls with a lot to gossip about)
  3. Tiring...you have no idea how much energy it takes to paddle/cycle the raft-looking thingy in a race...Oh...
  4. Expensive...God!!! The things there are $$$.

Okay, we started with a little problem having had to delay our trip by almost an hour because of bus schedules. The trip up to Genting was slow and a little nauseating (i_i) Poor me~~~ Then it was the cable car...Urgh, another sickening ride. It was like stuffing us in a box, literally. Little air and mild rocking = dizzy + headache. By the time i reach steady land, I am in serious need of medicated oil... Lucky i have friends who are well-prepared (Thanks, Li Qi!).

Lunch was at a place called 'Causeway Bay' which was so expensive I was willing to go w/o lunch (French toast was already RM 9.00) After check-in, i share a room with Stephanie and Xin Wen and us 3 had the queen-sized bed...Lucky! (The other room had to be shared among 4 other ppl and had only 2 single bed). We are poor students...it can't be helped.

The next thing was the theme park...but shit, almost everything fun is under maintenance...ah....my Spinner~~I din even get to ride it. and though it was a weekday and non-holiday, the theme park was still packed...It was an 'Oh my God' moment sometimes when we saw the queue. The most fun I had was probably the water bumper moment, even though only 3 of us went (Li Qi, May and I). Hehe, dry liau ma your pants? Anyway, there was a heavy mist and slight drizzle. Nothing much left to do, so when went back indoors.

After a round of roller-coaster and a trip to the cinema to buy tickets, it was back to the hotel...did I mention it was a loooonnnnggg way to our room...Faint* Anyway, we all had a wonderful time getting ready to sneak into the casino...haha, although some looked like a wedding guest or the bride itself. The funniest thing was Li Qi being able to enter instead of Colleen. And here we thought Li Qi was sure to be kicked out immediately. Haha...May and Stephanie tried but Stephanie failed as well. I didn't even try...I guess I was scared of being asked to leave...Anyway, dinner cost me RM 30!!! It was just a pork chop and a sugar cane drink! Ah, to be expected though.

After dinner, we went to ride some of the indoor rides...It was slow and painfully long, especially the Ferris wheel (It just wouldn't stop, Stephanie was going to hit the guy anytime soon). It was back to the hotel to rest before going for the show, Night at the Museum 2.

It was 1.30 a.m. and we were tired from all the chit-chatting. Everyone felt like sleeping right in the cinema, except, the seat was damn uncomfortable and we had already paid for the show, might as well watch it.

The first show was better than the sequel...The humour was almost the same, perhaps not even as funny. And then the was the Jonas Brother's flying/singing cupids...Haha, if my frens didn't tell me I wouldn't know. It was weird...The evil guy, Akhmenrah was even funnier than Ben Stiller's character, an accomplishment for Akhmenrah and a negative for Ben Stiller.

The show ended and the 7 of us trudged back to the hotel and fell asleep (before a game of poker, that is). Lunch was a non-committal affair, I just wanted to fill my stomach in case I puke in the cable car. The cable car ride down was less nauseating but nauseating non the less. The trip ended with all of us saying our good-byes after getting down from the bus.

All in all, an experience I cherished. My first trip with my uni friends...Haha, let's do it again next semester. I love you girls!!!

Total time spent: 33 hours

Total money spent: RM 137

My first Wish

I wish I will have more things to write in the future...

Okay, officially this is my first blog for this site and I'm happy that I'm blogging bout a happy occasion. Finally! My semester is done and I can finally be free for at least 3 months. Yahoo!!! 3 WHOLE months! Anyway, my last exam was today and I manage to finish it before i pass out from overheating and exhaustion. Whew...after the exam, the whole group of 7 people (Karen, Li Qi, May, Colleen, Stephanie, Xin Wen and myself) went for a movie: Push starring Chris Evans, Camilla Belle and Dakota Fanning. It was not our first choice but since Xin Wen had already watched 'Night at the Museum 2', we thought it better to just watch another show.

Push
Rating: 6/10
It was quite interesting to see a grown-up Dakota Fanning with purple-streaked hair. She has clearly grown up. Anyway, Chris Evans and Camilla Belle both did okay, except for Chris Evan's Cantonese. It was abysmal. There was also another supposedly Chinese gal who should have been able to speak fluent Cantonese since her 'family' was speaking Cantonese quite well. Oh well, one can't expect too much. It was shot mostly in Hong Kong, but there was a scene my friend thought reminded her very much of Vietnam or Thailand. The people milling about do NOT look Chinese. The special effects were passable as was expected of Hollywood movies depicting telekinetic abilities, such as being flung everywhere with a flick of the wrist. There were also two Chinese guys with power who looked strange and a bit like a goldfish when they use their power. It was odd seeing them as bad guy right at that moment when they started screaming. Anyway, I need to say, even if the bad guy...Victor is not handsome but the way he uses his power...Ah!!!! So good-looking. So much better compared to Chris Evan's dismayed efforts to hold a gun to the guy's head.

Anyway, aside from the movie...I will be going to Genting this Wednesday! Woohoo!!! 2D1N event with the same 7 people and more will be updated once I return from the trip. So far, i can only say, there will be only 2 rooms and 7 people...Need i say more? We are poor...Well, most of us are...Anyway, themepark is on the agenda, so is a trip to the casino, though i don't think we will be able to go in...So far that's the plan...And lastly is to make sure we enjoy ourselves!

Genting, here we come!
